We’ll be discussing an incident in Wakefield where a motorist dangerously overtook a cyclist at a set of traffic lights on Bridge Street. This close pass occurred on Sunday, 4th August 2024.
As the lights turned green, the driver displayed ‘must-get-in-front’ syndrome, endangering the cyclist.
The police dealt with the driver for the offence – RT88576 Driving without reasonable consideration to others and was offered an Educational Course which the driver completed.
